Safari Types:
Jeep Safari: The most popular way to explore Kanha is through Jeep Safaris. These safaris are conducted in open-top 4×4 vehicles, allowing you to get close to nature and wildlife. Jeep safaris are available in two shifts: morning and afternoon.
Elephant Safari: For a unique and adventurous experience, you can opt for an Elephant Safari. Riding on the back of an elephant, you can traverse through the dense forests of Kanha and witness wildlife in their natural habitat. Elephant safaris are available in the morning only.
Kanha National Park is open for visitors from October to June, while remaining closed during the monsoon season (July to September).
The park remains open from sunrise to sunset, and visitors are allowed during specific time slots for safari activities.
